My Inspiration

"Srinivasa Ramanujan is my role model. His life made me believe that you don’t have to be from a big city or have the best resources to make a mark in the world."

Srinivasa Ramanujan (1887–1920) was an extraordinary Indian mathematician whose deep insights and original work profoundly impacted number theory, infinite series, and mathematical analysis, despite having little formal training in pure mathematics.

From my Secondary School Education onwards, I got inspired from such a talent. I obtained twice the RAMANUJAN MATHS TALENT TEST AWARD. With anxiety, I visited his birth place ERODE, Erode Sengunthar Engineering College for a Paper presentation on Bionic Eye during my graduation.

Key Facts About Ramanujan:

  • Born: December 22, 1887, in Erode, Tamil Nadu, India.

  • Died: April 26, 1920, at age 32, in Kumbakonam, India.

  • Known For:

    • Ramanujan Prime

    • Ramanujan Theta Function

    • Mock Theta Functions

    • Contributions to partition theory, modular forms, and continued fractions.

    • Collaborating with British mathematician G.H. Hardy at the University of Cambridge.

I suggest my students to get an inspiration from such talents and take some person as a Role Model in your life. It will automatically drive you towards success.

"Being a role model is the most powerful form of educating."
John Wooden

"Each person must live their life as a model for others."
Rosa Parks
